The infamous McDonalds meal contains enough calories to sustain a family of four!
The Big Mac was created by Jim Delligatti in 1967 and became an instant hit all over America. The first Big Mac debuted at Delligatti’s Uniontown, Pennsylvania restaurant. Over the years, BigMac has been targeted by many nutritionists as it contributes a lot to obesity in many people. BigMac has a resounding 540 kilo’s worth of calories, 29 grams of fat and 25 grams of protein. Calories of these amounts are more than enough for one person; in fact, they’re able to sustain a family of four people! The BigMac is under serious accusations by various health institutions as they claim that a regular intake of the BigMac could be dangerous to health because of its high number of fats and calories. In 1999, in the United Kingdom; three Courts of Appeal judges ruled that a diet consisting of such high-fat products can very well lead to heart diseases.
In the documentary “Super size me”, the director Morgan Spurlock, an American independent filmmaker, points out that having a BigMac consistently in your diet could lead to various physical problems ranging from mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and fat accumulation in the liver.

In today’s time, where millions of people die of hunger and many more suffering from starvation, it seems immoral to be consuming a meal of this sort. Calories of such a large amount are consumed merely by taking in a single meal which, not only being very dangerous, are stuffed with processed machine food.
It is always better to cook food with healthy nutritional values which aren’t costly, so more people can be fed with fewer amounts of raw rations.
